I've heard quite a few teachings on the council of Acts 15, and listened to equally great men of God teach different perspectives and viewpoints often contradicting each other. This is the first time I've ever taught on the council of Acts 15 and I'm only doing so because I was given the green light as well as a little new light. Strap yourselves in because this is going to rattle some heads and change some hearts.

Until now all the arguments, discussions and teachings I've listened to regarding the council of Acts 15 have been from the perspective of leadership struggles within the church. Well, I'm going to teach it from a different perspective, the truth that God no longer dwells in temples made with hands. If we keep this in mind and recognise that God's church comprises people and not any building or church or religion or organisation or ministry, Acts 15 falls into place with a clarity so stunning it is shocking.

Acts 15:1
And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

To set the stage, Paul and Barnabas had been moving the word while travelling around Asia during what some now refer to as Paul's first missionary journey. They began back in Antioch of Syria, sailed to Cyprus, where they taught the word to Sergius Paulus and confronted Elymas the sorcerer. Later, they sailed to Perga in Pamphylia, where John departed from them. Paul and Barnabas then travelled to Antioch in Pisidia, where the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. From there Paul and Barnabas travelled to Iconium, then onto Lystra and Derbe. While at Lystra, Paul healed a man who had been a cripple from birth. The people were astonished and declared that Paul and Barnabas were gods come down from heaven in the likeness of men. After some persecution, Paul was stoned and dragged out of the city and left for dead. Later he returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch in Pisidia, then passed through Pamphylia to Perga, took ship and sailed back to Antioch in Syria, where the word says Paul and Barnabas abode a long time with the disciples.

Then these men from Judea showed up, infiltrated the home churches and taught that unless the Gentiles were circumcised they could not be saved. Who were these men? Who sent them? Why were they there? On whose authority were they acting? What made them think they had the right to march in there and start teaching? What made them think they knew better than Paul? Were they walking by the spirit? If God didn't send them, who did? We must ask these questions because they are important.

Acts 15:2
When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined [tassō] that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

No small dissension and disputation, means heated and lengthy arguments and debates. Voices were raised, eyes locked as Paul and Barnabas took those men on. They obviously weren't listening to Paul, were they? Why not? This is the question we must ask. Who was walking by the spirit here and who was walking by the direction and counsel of men?

With no resolution in sight, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem. The word they is a pronoun so we must be clear on exactly who the pronoun they refers to. Does it refer to Paul? No, it does not. It says they, and if you track back through the verse you will see that they relates itself to the preceding word them which is a pronoun referring to the men which came down from Judea. If the pronoun referred back to Paul and Barnabas, the next closest nouns, and we insert their names into the verse it doesn't make sense. Look at it.

When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, Paul and Barnabas determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

See, that's nonsense. The pronoun refers back to the men from Judea.

When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, the men from Judea, they, the men from Judea determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

Now your bible makes sense. It was the men who came down from Judea who determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders. This decision by those men from Judea was absolutely not based on revelation. Those men were not walking by the spirit, because if they were, they would not have been arguing with Paul.

The word determined is the Greek word tassō, to arrange, to appoint, to determine. In other words, this was a senses decision based on senses reasoning. Those men from Judea had already substituted walking by the spirit with walking by the counsel of men. That is how energised ministries turn their backs on the fountain of living waters and hew them out broken cisterns that can hold no water. They substitute the energising of holy spirit with walking by the senses. Instead of Christ being their head, they make decisions determined by counsels of men. No doubt they quoted old testament scriptures at Paul and Barnabas, and lectured them from Proverbs.

Proverbs 11:14
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

In the old testament people did not have spirit generally available, they were as sheep without a shepherd, so they needed men and women around who had spirit upon them to be their shepherds, like Samuel, Moses, Isaiah, Huldah the prophetess and all the others. As they had no spirit of their own, the people held counsels where they would make the best decisions they could based on their knowledge of scripture. This of course required leadership structures with prominent men and women stepping in to make final decisions that affected everyone. When they couldn't find solutions, they would go to a man or woman of God who had spirit for their answers. That is absolutely not how things work in this administration. We all have spirit and we are all to walk by the spirit and not by the senses. When these men from Judea saw that Paul and Barnabas were not going to listen to them, they, the men from Judea told Paul and Barnabas to go to Jerusalem so the ministry leadership could sort them out. They were sending Paul and Barnabas to be disciplined by the ministry leadership for not submitting themselves and heeding the reproof and correction they were given.

There is definitely a conflict here between believers who walked by the senses and believers who walked by the spirit. Now, we must understand that the book of Acts records the transition from law to grace and that it took time for the believers to adjust. On the day of Pentecost a new administration began and the rules changed. The believers didn't know about these changes as yet, so they continued in their old ways until the details of the new administration were gradually revealed. It all took time.

For example, Peter didn't take the word to the Gentiles until 15-25 years after the day of Pentecost, and it took revelation to get through to him to do so. Years after the day of Pentecost, not one of the believers was taking the word to the Gentiles even though it had been available since Pentecost. See, it took time to get the old administration out of their heads and get the new principles of the Grace Administration into their thinking and believing.

Even after Acts 10, Paul had to confront Peter to his face because his heart was still bogged down in Judean old testament horseshit regarding Gentiles.

Galatians 2:11-13
But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.

Do you see it? People need time to change, it doesn't happen overnight. Heck, it's taken me 35 years to finally see the truth that God does not dwell in temples made with hands. I've read that scripture thousands of times but it was only very recently I understood what it was saying. We can't read the book of Acts and make sense of it without understanding that people needed time to change. Understanding this helps us to understand the council of Acts 15 and why Peter and the other apostles were still wrapped up in this horseshit dribbling out of Jerusalem. We need to understand that they were still transitioning from law to grace and they still had old testament principles engrained in their thinking and believing. These men from Judea were hanging onto the Law Administration principles of circumcision and walking by the counsel of men.

Acts 15 isn't showing us leadership struggles, it's showing us how the devil constructs temples made with hands within energised ministries and transforms them into religious horseshit. The church in Jerusalem had constructed layers of leadership within a man-made ministry which they expected God's church to submit to and obey. Those men from Judea were obviously quite high up in the ranks, and probably had real flashy nametags. Well, who is our head? The elders at Jerusalem? A board of Directors? Counsels of men? Or is it Christ? Make up your mind.

If we put our trust in men who walk by their senses we will be disappointed in our expectations. Walking by the flesh is a guaranteed path of frustration and defeat. When we submit to men rather than to Christ, when we walk by what leadership structures of men direct rather than by the spirit, then we turn our backs on the fountain of living waters and hew out a broken cistern.

Paul, of course walked by the spirit and knew those men from Judea were full of horseshit. Now let's get one thing very clear here - Paul did not go up to Jerusalem because those men from Judea told him to, he went up by revelation. When all was said and done and those men from Judea told him to go to Jerusalem and get himself sorted out by his leadership, Paul went to God for guidance and God gave him the green light to go. Paul didn't go to Jerusalem because those men from Judea determined it, but because he walked by the spirit and God told him to go. Galatians refers to this record in Acts 15 and tells us exactly that.

Galatians 2:1,2
Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

This revelation was only given to Paul, it wasn't given to a counsel of men. When God gives revelation, does he give the same revelation to a bunch of people all at the same time? No, that's not how revelation works. That's why the pronoun them in Acts 15:2 cannot refer to Paul and Barnabas. Paul didn't go up to Jerusalem because a counsel of men determined it, but because he went to God and got revelation. Go and search the scriptures. God only gives revelation to individuals.

Acts 8:29
Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

Did this revelation to go teach come from Philip's home church leader? Did it come from his branch coordinator? Did it come from his country coordinator? Did it come from the leadership at the ministry headquarters in Jerusalem? No, it came from the Christ in him. He walked by the spirit and Christ was his head. Did he report to his home church leader, branch coordinator, country coordinator or ministry leadership before doing what the spirit directed him to do? No, he did not. Well, what do you think God wants us to do in our day and time? Walk by the gift of holy spirit, the Christ in us, or by the direction and counsel of men?

Acts 9:10-12
And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Did this revelation to go minister to Paul come from Ananias' home church leader? Did it come from his branch coordinator? Did it come from his country coordinator? Did it come from the leadership at the ministry headquarters in Jerusalem? No, it came from the Christ in him. He walked by the spirit and the Christ in him was his head. Same with Peter.

Acts 10:19,20
While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

Did this revelation to go witness to the Gentiles come from Peter's home church leader? Did it come from his branch coordinator? Did it come from his country coordinator? Did it come from the leadership at the ministry headquarters in Jerusalem? No, it came from the Christ in him. He walked by the spirit and Christ was his head.

Look, if God dwelled in temples made with hands, revelation would have to be given to the ministry leadership and then handed down the chain of command. Don't you see it? This is so important, I'm going to say it again. Make sure you read this and understand it, selah. If God dwelled in temples made with hands, revelation would have to be given to the ministry leadership and then handed down the chain of command. But God no longer dwells in temples made with hands, does he?

Acts 16:9
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

This revelation to Paul about going to Macedonia was only given to him, it wasn't given to anyone else. Nowhere in the bible do I see God giving the same revelation to a bunch of people all at the same time. The same was true back in Acts 15 regarding his going to Jerusalem. Paul walked by the spirit and he got the green light to go up to Jerusalem. That revelation wasn't given to Barnabas and it certainly wasn't given to those fucking interfering religious pricks from Judea.

Now we have to ask the question, why did God give revelation to Paul in Acts 15 to go up to Jerusalem? Was it for the benefit of the religious pricks from Judea? Was it for Paul's benefit? No, it was for the believers in Antioch. They were Paul's work. He had been their home church leader when the word first took root. He was responsible for them because he had taught them the word. That's why God gave him revelation on how best to protect his people in Antioch from those religious interfering fuckwits. God gave the revelation to Paul because his people were his responsibility. God most certainly did not give revelation regarding the move of the word in Antioch to anyone back at the headquarters of any ministry in Jerusalem.

What can we learn from this? Well, if you're a home church leader and God has given you people to work with, he will only work with you to help those people, he will not go over your head. Any revelation that's needed in your area to keep God's people safe will go to you, not to any ministry leadership. You are the one who has proven your own work, you are the one to whom God has given increase, and you are the one with the responsibility and authority to look after those people. You are the leadership God will work with for your home church. We need to keep interfering religious fuckwits like those men from Judea well away from our home churches and well away from our people. How do you like that for new light?

This thing about who exactly God gives revelation to is one of the most important keys to walking by the spirit you will ever learn. God gives revelation only to those with the responsibility to carry it out. Additionally, even if you're off the word God will always try to get through to you first. If you don't listen, it's only then God may give revelation to others to get involved to try and help you, like he did with Paul going to Jerusalem in Acts 21. Paul was told first though, wasn't he? Agabus and the others only got involved because Paul wasn't listening. Let's see some of these principles in scripture. Jeroboam, who we met earlier in the class, was burning incense by the alter he'd had made for his new religion and God wasn't exactly pleased with it.

1 Kings 13:1
And, behold, there came a man of God [Elohim] out of Judah by the word of the LORD [Jehovah] unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

This man of God was sent to Jeroboam by revelation. God gave the prophet information on where to go, what to do, and what to say.

1 Kings 13:2,3
And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD [Jehovah], and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

The prophet did exactly what he was told and delivered precisely the message he was told to deliver. While we're here, it's time to start getting LORD out of our heads when it comes to God. The reasons will become more apparent later in the class. Jehovah should always be translated God. Elohim is God the creator. We're so conditioned to calling God the Lord that this is going to take some work. I'm still having difficulty with this but the more I force my mind to see the word God every place Jehovah is used, the easier it becomes. Elohim I read as elohim, understanding it as God the creator. Up to you on this one, just get Lord out of your head when it comes to God. God is absolutely not our lord. Jesus Christ is our Lord. I've made a few changes in the following verses to help you see this. Back to a rather pissed off Jeroboam.

1 Kings 13:4-6
And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God [elohim], which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God [elohim] had given by the word of the LORD [God].

And the king answered and said unto the man of God [elohim], Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God [God thy elohim], and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God [elohim] besought the LORD [God], and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

I know this is going to take some retraining of our minds, and I appreciate that, but we must get lord out of our heads when it comes to God. This forgery will be a major lever in promoting the antichrist, a man, to God status. Jesus Christ is a man, he is our Lord, but he is not God. God is our creator, he is our God, but he is not our Lord. Let's see how this confrontation between the man of elohim and Jeroboam develops.

1 Kings 13:7-10
And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.

And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.

Here we must clarify the importance of exactly who God gives revelation to. God told his man that he was to eat nothing, drink nothing, and return home by a different route. Is any of that difficult to understand? There is nothing ambiguous or complicated about the revelation. Most importantly, this revelation was given to the man of God, the man with the authority and responsibility to carry it out, not to anyone else. Now watch what happens.

1 Kings 13:11-18
Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.

And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

This is one key to walking by the spirit you had better learn well. This old fucker lied about being given revelation for someone else. God will always tell you first. Always, without exception. God will never give revelation to others to give to you to carry out, ever, unless you're a new born believer and you're clueless about spiritual matters, in which case it would go to the person who taught you the word and who is responsible for you. If he's not around, then it might go to your home church leader or whoever else from your home church might be around. If you don't learn this, you are headed for major problems.

Who killed the man of God? Was it a lion or was it God? Remember the idiom of permission. God is always good, the devil is always evil. The devil only gets in when we are disobedient to the word. That old prophet lied to the man of God about receiving revelation on his behalf, the man of God believed him and walked to his death. God did not kill that man. Had God wanted him dead, he wouldn't have given him the information on how to get home again safely. God basically gave him a map through a spiritual minefield. When he strayed from the map, he was killed. He obviously didn't understand this truth I'm now teaching you.

So, in this administration, does God give revelation to every Tom, Dick and Harry about you? No, he does not. He will work with you directly and personally, or if you're a new believer, with the person responsible for looking after you until you learn to walk by the spirit for yourself. We are a family, after all.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh [energises] in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

There are distinctions to this, of course. In the marriage relationship, all revelation regarding the direction of the marriage goes to the husband.

Ephesians 5:22-24
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Revelation regarding children goes to their parents, whoever God feels it best to give it to at the time. As the mother spends most of her time with the kids, the vast majority of revelation would logically therefore go to her.

Ephesians 6:1
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

See how this works? Home church leaders don't get revelation about everyone in their home churches, they only get revelation on how best to move the word and keep things spiritually clean. They won't get revelation on what job you should do or who you should marry, that's none of their business. It's your life, you live it. Don't be a religious idiot thinking God gives revelation to everyone else about what you should do with your life, get that spirit energised within you and walk on your own two feet. When Paul disobeyed God by going to Jerusalem in Acts 21 and was told what to do by the ministry leadership there, were they walking by the spirit? No, they were walking by their senses, and doing what James and the elders told him to do almost cost Paul his life. There was no safety there in a multitude of counsellors, was there? Walking by the counsel of men is walking by the senses, it is putting your trust in the flesh.

If you're a brand new believer, okay, perhaps you will need a little help, but that help will come from within your own home church, not from the leadership of some temple made with hands. That's why every home church is to be self supporting, self propagating and self governing. The home churches are to be the headquarters of the move of the word in their areas. All you have to do is think family rather than ministry. The churches in Antioch were fine until the ministry in Jerusalem stuck their snotty interfering religious noses in, see it?

Ministry is old testament, family is Grace Administration. Think family, think responsibility, think young children, think teenagers and think adults. Is this class, Walking by the Spirit for young children? No it isn't, it's geared towards maturing teenagers and adults. I don't expect brand new believers to walk by the spirit and understand this stuff, and yes, God does give me revelation on how best to look after new believers under my care. As they mature spiritually and learn how to walk by the spirit for themselves, God will energise more and more with them and less and less with me, understand? It's a family thing. Just as parents are spiritually responsible for their children until they mature, so we are spiritually responsible for those we witness to until they learn to walk by the spirit for themselves. The church of God in the Grace Administration simply cannot function unless it is done home church by home church as families, with each home church being self governing, self propagating and self supporting.

If we submit ourselves to structures of leadership within man-made ministries we will lose the word because God does not dwell in temples made with hands. We must all learn to walk by the spirit with Christ as our head or there is no flowing of living waters. Christ is our head, not men, and God will only give revelation in this administration to whoever has the responsibility and authority to carry it out. God will not give revelation to any man regarding a marriage other than to a woman's husband. I mean that is just so obvious, yet when it comes to running home churches why can't we see that it's just as obvious that God only gives revelation regarding how a home church is to operate and function to the home church leader, the person responsible for that home church? The person responsible is the person who began the work and built it up, not some religious prick from some man-made ministry who was sent there to take over your work. God gave your people to you so do your job and look after them. It's your job to keep the wolves from your people.

Once a man-made structure of leadership takes over responsibility for how home churches operate and function, the fountain of living waters is cut off because God will not honour any other system than that which he has set up for this administration.

Those men from Judea thought they were so right, hey? When Paul didn't listen to them, they threw their hands up and told him to go to Jerusalem so his leadership could sort him out. Paul walked by the spirit, went to God and got the green light to go to Jerusalem. If God had not given him the green light, he would not have gone despite those men from Judea determining that he should. The word was already being lost in the 1st Century church because the believers were being taught to submit themselves to an organised structure of leadership within a man-made ministry rather than to walk by the spirit with Christ as their head. Paul did go to Jerusalem, and he did sort things out for his believers back in Antioch, so there was tremendous profit to his going.

Acts 15:3-6
And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

It's interesting to note that the apostles are mentioned here. Peter, John and all the others were still in Jerusalem at this time. It is also interesting to note that when Paul went to Jerusalem in Acts 21, when he disobeyed God by going, there is no mention of any apostles.

Acts 21:18
And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.

The point is, there was spiritual profit in Paul going to that developing man-made ministry headquarters in Jerusalem in Acts 15 because God still had some good men there with eyes to see and ears to hear. However, by the time Acts 21 came along, God screamed at Paul not to go. Paul however was quite willing to give his life in an attempt to try to save the ministry. Look, God doesn't give a fuck about man-made ministries, he only cares about people, his people, his church. God does not dwell in temples made with hands, but he did send Paul into one that was being constructed to try to reach the apostles and to protect his people back in Antioch. As we continue reading we see that Peter definitely responded. I wish people today would respond and get out of all those shithole man-made temples they waste their lives and God's money attending. Galatians adds a bit more light regarding those pharisees who were into circumcision.

Galatians 2:3-5
But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

How can false brethren be brought in without anyone knowing? I'll tell you why, it's because God will not support man-made temples by giving revelation to counsels of men who walk by their senses. Do you know how those religious cunts were spying out their liberty? They placed men in the public urinals to check the men's cocks as they were pissing to see if they were circumcised or not. I tell you, God has fuck all to do with man-made temples and all their layers of leadership who have turned their backs on the fountain of living waters and instead walk by the counsel and direction of men. Yes, this subject makes me angry, you can probably feel it. If you'd wasted twenty years of your life and tens of thousands of pounds of God's money being duped by wankers in a temple run by men, you'd be pissed off as well. Just be thankful you don't need to go through what I went through to get to this word I'm now teaching.

Acts 15:7-11
And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost [holy spirit], even as he did unto us;

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith [believing].

Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
